About me​

I was born in the Gorkha region of Nepal, in the village of Arughat Bazaar – the gateway to the beautiful Manaslu Circuit Trek.

Growing up I was fascinated by the people from all around the world passing by and their interest in our mountains and nature – and that’s how decided to become a guide!

After moving to Kathmandu, I started as a porter in 2012, learned English on the job and have been a professional certified guide since 2014, with groups from 1 up to 10 people.

Being able to explain all about life in Nepal, past and present, details about the culture, social issues, agriculture, and history, makes me very proud of my beloved country.

The opportunity to connect with people across the world and share all aspects of life is also a big part of why I enjoy it: I’ve made so many life-long friendships during these journeys!

I truly love being in the mountains, they always make me feel at home!
